The seas of Uncharted Waters Origin are full of players enjoying their own adventures with their Companies.

During a long voyage or when your fleet is docked in a city, you can use the live chat feature to talk to other players. The chat log is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen in real time, and you can open the chat window by clicking on the speech bubble icon.

You can choose from six channels—All, Notices, World, Nation, Guild, and Region—depending on whom you wish to talk to. You can receive all messages at all times, or choose a channel you want to participate in.

Chat is disabled in single-player instances such as Combat and Challenges.

By clicking the player names on the chat window, you can read a summary of a player’s Company LV, Admiral, and Flagship.

You can also Whisper to another player in the popup window.

Use the Settings in the upper right corner of the Chat window to configure which channels are to be displayed.
